About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and experienced Sr. Content Writer to lead content initiatives, create high-quality SEO-friendly content, and mentor a team of content writers. The ideal candidate should have strong writing skills, SEO knowledge, and experience managing multiple content projects in a digital marketing agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write SEO-friendly blogs, website content, landing pages, and articles.
- Conduct keyword research and naturally incorporate keywords into content.
- Optimize content for headings, meta titles, meta descriptions, internal linking, and search intent.
- Understand search intent and create content that matches users' requirements.
- Research topics and create original, informative, and engaging content.
- Update and optimize existing content based on SEO requirements.
- Follow content briefs, brand guidelines, and SEO best practices.
- Coordinate with the SEO team to understand content requirements and priorities.
- Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics (GA4), Grammarly, ChatGPT, SEMrush/Ahrefs, and Google Docs.
- Experience in mentoring content writers is preferred.
- Proofread and edit content for grammar, readability, accuracy, and consistency.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO and content trends.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Content Writing, preferably in a digital marketing agency.
- Excellent written English, editing, and research skills.
- Strong understanding of SEO and content marketing.
- Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics (GA4), Grammarly, ChatGPT, SEMrush/Ahrefs, and Google Docs.
- Experience in mentoring content writers is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio of published content.
- Content Marketing or Google Analytics certifications are an added advantage.
