Educational Qualification
- ITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC), Electrician, or related trade
- Additional HVAC/VRF training is preferred
Job Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain VRF/VRV air conditioning systems.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of indoor and outdoor units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and refrigeration faults.
- Check refrigerant pressure, gas charging, and leakage issues.
- Inspect compressors, PCB boards, sensors, and electrical components.
- Carry out testing, commissioning, and system performance checks.
- Read electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Prepare service reports and maintenance records.
- Ensure safety procedures and company standards are followed.
- Coordinate with supervisors and customers regarding service requirements.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of VRF/VRV systems and HVAC principles
- Understanding of electrical circuits and refrigeration systems
- Ability to use testing tools such as multimeters, manifold gauges, and clamp meters
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Experience
- Freshers with ITI RAC can apply for trainee positions.
- 1–5 years of experience in VRF/VRV service and maintenance is preferred for technician roles.
