Job Description:
Emergency Department End-to-End Coder (Professional Fee & Facility) Position Summary The Emergency Department End-to-End Coder is responsible for accurate, compliant coding and review of both professional fee and facility services associated with Emergency Department encounters. This role applies ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, modifier, and facility coding guidelines to ensure accurate code assignment, facility leveling, charge capture, reimbursement support, and regulatory compliance. The coder reviews the complete patient encounter across physician, advanced practice provider, nursing, ancillary, and facility documentation to ensure coding accurately reflects services provided and resources utilized. This position requires proficiency in both Emergency Department professional fee coding and Emergency Department facility coding, including facility E&M leveling methodologies, observation services, critical care services, procedural coding, infusion/injection administration, and revenue integrity concepts.

Qualifications Required Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department coding experience. Demonstrated experience coding both Emergency Department professional fee and facility services. Active coding credential from AAPC and/or AHIMA: Strong knowledge of: o Emergency Department E&M coding o ICD-10-CM coding o CPT and HCPCS coding o Critical care coding o Observation services o Facility E&M leveling methodologies o Infusion and injection administration coding o NCCI edits o Modifier assignment o Revenue integrity concepts o Official Coding Guidelines.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
