Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy ER/IR strategies in accordance with labour laws.
- Provide industrial relations support and expertise across the Supply Chain business.
- Manage contract labour and ensure legal compliance related to contract labour.
- Guide the regional HR head of local labour and union issues.
- Consult with various government authorities and legal counsel for compliance and advice.
- Ensure proactive ER support to minimize legal risks and union-related issues.
- Provide training in grievance handling and disciplinary procedures to line managers.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation.
- Support business heads in handling disciplinary issues.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
- Analyse employee feedback and survey data to inform ER strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address employee concerns and enhance retention strategies.
- Lead negotiations with labour unions and represent the organization in collective bargaining processes.
- Monitor and report on key HR metrics related to employee relations and industrial relations.
Foster a culture of open communication and transparency within the organization
Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in an ER/IR environment, preferably managing IR for a large workforce.
Qualification: Any graduate.
Skills and Competencies:

- Strong understanding of labour laws and compliance.
- Ability to develop and implement effective strategies for manpower management.
- Proficient in English & Local language (written and spoken).
