Job Description: Service Engineer –
The Service Engineer is responsible for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of environmental equipment at client sites. You’ll be the main technical face for customers and ensure systems run efficiently and comply with pollution norms.
Key Responsibilities:
· Installation & Commissioning: Site installation, piping, electrical wiring, and commissioning of ETP, STP, WTP, air pollution control systems, or monitoring equipment.
· Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance: Schedule and execute PM plans. Diagnose faults and do corrective repairs on pumps, blowers, PLC panels, sensors, dosing systems.
· Troubleshooting: Identify mechanical, electrical, and process issues. Minimize downtime for clients
· Customer Support: Train client operators, handle complaints, and provide technical guidance on-site and over calls
· Compliance & Reporting: Conduct performance testing, collect samples if needed, and prepare service reports. Ensure equipment meets CPCB/SPCB norms
· Spares & Documentation: Recommend spares, maintain service history, and update job cards in CRM
· Sales Coordination: Identify upsell opportunities for AMC, upgrades, or consumables and coordinate with sales team
Qualifications:
Education: Diploma or B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
Experience: 2-5 years in field service. Experience with ETP/STP/WTP/RO plants, scrubbers, bag filters, or CEMS is a plus
Certifications: PLC basics, safety training preferred
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
