We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic PGT Applied Mathematics Teacher to teach senior secondary classes (XI & XII) following the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess excellent subject knowledge, the ability to clearly explain concepts, and the skills to prepare students for their board examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Applied Mathematics to Classes XI and XII in alignment with the CBSE curriculum.
- Design lesson plans and teaching materials that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Conduct regular assessments, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate student understanding and progress.
- Prepare students for CBSE board exams and competitive exams.
- Use innovative teaching methods, including technology-based instruction, to enhance learning outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed student records, including attendance, academic performance, and assessment reports.
- Provide academic support and mentoring to students as needed.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events.
- Collaborate with peers in planning interdisciplinary teaching approaches and curriculum enrichment activities.
- Maintain discipline and foster a positive classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree (M.Sc./M.A.) in Mathematics from a recognised university.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is compulsory as per CBSE norms.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in teaching Applied Mathematics at the senior secondary level in a CBSE-affiliated school.
- Experience in preparing students for competitive exams will be an added advantage
