PHP Yii Developer (5–7 Years) | Remote (Preference: Mumbai/Pune WFO)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced PHP Yii Developer with strong expertise in the Yii Framework (Yii2 preferred) to develop and maintain scalable enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of PHP development best practices, and experience working in Agile environments.
Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with PHP Yii Framework (Yii2 preferred)
- Strong knowledge of PHP 7/8
- Good understanding of MVC Architecture
- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and JSON
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Experience with Git
- Familiarity with Linux environment
- Knowledge of Composer dependency management

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using PHP Yii2 Framework.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product teams.
- Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Manage source code using Git version control.
