Shanmugam Industries is looking for a motivated and energetic Sales Representative to promote and expand the market for our Metal Paste products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business, maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new dealers, distributors, retailers, and industrial customers.
- Promote and sell the company's Metal Paste products in the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular market visits to generate new business opportunities.
- Meet architects, contractors, fabricators, paint dealers, hardware dealers, manufacturers, and other potential customers.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Build long-term relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
- Collect market feedback, monitor competitor activities, and identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with the production and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Follow up on quotations, payments, and customer enquiries.
- Submit daily visit reports and maintain accurate sales records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in field sales, preferably in construction chemicals, industrial products, paints, adhesives, coatings, or building materials.
- Candidates with strong communication skills and a willingness to travel are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.
- Proficiency in Tamil; English is an added advantage.
- Must own a valid driving licence.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
