School Administrator (Admin Executive)
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organized School Administrator to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the school. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning of administrative activities, maintain records, coordinate with staff, parents, and vendors, and support compliance with CBSE guidelines and school policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily administrative operations of the school.
- Maintain student, staff, and school records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate admissions, enquiries, and documentation.
- Handle correspondence, emails, phone calls, and front office operations.
- Prepare reports, circulars, notices, and official documents.
- Coordinate with teaching and non-teaching staff to ensure smooth school operations.
- Monitor attendance records of students and staff.
- Maintain inventory of school supplies and coordinate procurement.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers for maintenance, transport, housekeeping, and security.
- Assist in organizing examinations, school events, parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and annual functions.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE norms, statutory requirements, and school policies.
- Support HR activities, including employee documentation, onboarding, and record maintenance.
- Coordinate fee-related administrative processes with the accounts department.
- Maintain confidentiality of school records and administrative information.
- Perform other administrative duties assigned by the Principal or School Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or a related field.
- A Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of school ERP systems is preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of administrative experience, preferably in a school or educational institution.
- Experience working in a CBSE school will be an added advantage.
