The QC & Order Follow-up Executive shall be responsible for end-to-end quality control and production tracking of textile export orders, ensuring that all products meet buyer specifications, are completed on time, and are ready for shipment without defects or delays.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. ORDER FOLLOW-UP & COORDINATION
- Track each order from sampling to shipment
- Coordinate with:
- Production Manager
- Factory Manager
- Job work suppliers
- Maintain daily status of:
- Production stage
- Pending work
- Shipment readiness
- Ensure timelines are followed strictly
- Escalate delays immediately
B. INLINE & FINAL QUALITY CONTROL
- Conduct:
- Inline inspection (during stitching)
- Mid inspection (during finishing)
- Final inspection (before packing)
- Ensure:
- No defects (stitching, fabric, finishing)
- Measurements match size chart
- Approved sample is followed
- Use QC checklist for every order
- Maintain QC reports
C. SAMPLE & APPROVAL CONTROL
- Maintain approved samples (PP / Gold Seal)
- Ensure production follows approved samples
- Verify:
- Fabric
- Color
- Design
- Prevent deviation from sample
D. PACKING & SHIPMENT QUALITY
- Check:
- Folding
- Polybag
- Labeling
- Barcode
- Carton packing
- Ensure packing matches buyer requirements
- Verify carton quantity and assortment
E. AQL INSPECTION
- Conduct random inspection using AQL method
- Ensure defects are within acceptable limits
- Approve or reject shipment
F. DOCUMENTATION SUPPORT
- Coordinate with Factory Manager for:
- Packing list accuracy
- Quantity confirmation
- Ensure QC approval before shipment
G. ISSUE PREVENTION
- Identify problems early in production
- Work with suppliers to fix issues
- Prevent last-minute rejection
