Position: Site Engineer
Job Summary
The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating construction activities at project sites, ensuring that work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules. The role involves managing site operations for commercial buildings, residential developments, and industrial building projects while coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes and standards.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, subcontractors, and clients to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within the approved schedule.
- Plan and allocate manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently.
- Verify quantities, monitor material consumption, and maintain inventory records.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to quality control procedures.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on site.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Measure completed work and assist in billing, estimation, and quantity verification.
- Identify construction challenges and implement practical engineering solutions.
- Coordinate testing, inspections, and approvals with consultants and authorities.
- Ensure proper documentation, including site records, inspection reports, and material approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Relevant experience in commercial, residential, and industrial building construction projects.
Preferred Experience
(1 to 15 years)
- Experience in executing commercial buildings, residential developments, and industrial building projects.
- Familiarity with quality assurance, safety compliance, and project documentation.
- Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
