Brohawk Exports is a leading manufacturer and exporter of agricultural implements, is expanding its manufacturing capabilities and is looking for skilled professionals to join our team for our new CNC fiber laser cutting machinery.
Position
CAD Designer / CNC Laser Programmer & Machine Operator
Key Responsibilities
* Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for sheet metal and fabricated components.
* Develop CNC laser cutting programs and optimize nesting to maximize material utilization.
* Operate CNC fiber laser cutting machines efficiently and safely.
* Verify dimensions and ensure components meet quality standards.
* Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
* Maintain machine performance through routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
* Troubleshoot programming and production issues to minimize downtime.
* Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
* Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
* Experience with CNC laser programming and nesting software is preferred.
* Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience
* CAD Designer: 2–5 years preferred.
* Laser Programmer: 2–5 years preferred.
* Laser Machine Operator: 1–3 years preferred.
* Fresh candidates with strong technical knowledge may also be considered for trainee positions.
