Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Staff Leadership & Management: Assigning nurses to patients, managing daily rotas, scheduling shifts, and providing performance evaluations.
- Clinical Oversight: Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain quality care.
- Operational Support: Managing department resources, monitoring supply inventory, and resolving patient or staff conflicts.
- Training & Development: Hiring new nursing staff, conducting onboarding, and offering mentoring for skill development.
- Reporting: Acting as the lead nurse (often in the absence of the Director of Nursing), and providing reports to senior management regarding patient census and staff issues.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), with many employers preferring a Master's degree.
- Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience: Usually requires at least 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, with previous supervisory or charge nurse experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership, decision-making, time management, and communication abilities are essential.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
