Job Purpose
The Café Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the café, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food and beverage quality, supervising staff, and achieving operational and sales targets. The role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while supporting the overall success of the café.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the café to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Lead, motivate, and support café staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Prepare staff schedules and allocate duties to ensure adequate coverage.
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, punctuality, and overall performance.
- Ensure all food and beverages are prepared and served according to company standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor café cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety standards.
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, store, and purchase teams to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Monitor inventory, minimize wastage, and report stock shortages.
- Promote menu items and encourage upselling to increase sales.
- Monitor daily sales, prepare operational reports, and submit them to management.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, operational, and properly maintained.
- Conduct regular team briefings and on-the-job training for staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Support promotional activities, special events, and seasonal campaigns.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or F&B Manager.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment, including supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of café operations, customer service, and food safety practices.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
