Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and technically sound Chemical Engineer with experience in Technical Sales to drive business growth, manage customer relationships, and provide technical solutions to clients. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads.
- Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
- Understand customer processes and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Production, Quality, and R&D to meet customer requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to business development initiatives.
- Travel to customer locations for meetings, technical discussions, and business development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 3–8 years of experience in Technical Sales, Sales Engineering, Business Development, or related functions.
- Strong understanding of industrial chemicals, metallurgy, precious metals, catalysts, or related products will be preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
