Job Summary:-
The Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) – Bakery is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the bakery section by preparing high-quality breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked products. The role ensures consistency in production, adherence to food safety standards, and efficient kitchen operations while assisting in supervising junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:-

Prepare and bake a variety of breads, rolls, pastries, cakes, cookies, desserts, and specialty bakery products according to standard recipes.

Ensure all bakery items meet hotel quality, presentation, and portion standards.

Assist the Chef de Partie in planning daily production and mise en place.

Monitor ingredient quality, stock levels, and report shortages promptly.

Follow FIFO (First In, First Out), proper labeling, and food storage procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section at all times.

Ensure compliance with HACCP, FSSAI, and hotel food safety and hygiene standards.

Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently.

Minimize food wastage through effective planning and portion control.

Assist in developing seasonal menus and introducing new bakery products.

Supervise, guide, and train Commis Chefs and apprentices in daily bakery operations.

Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure timely production and service.

Adhere to all hotel policies, safety procedures, and grooming standards.
