Job Summary
The Fabric Sales Manager is responsible for driving fabric sales, developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and achieving sales targets. The role involves understanding customer requirements, coordinating with production and merchandising teams, monitoring market trends, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Identify and acquire new customers in domestic and international markets.
Expand business with garment manufacturers, exporters, brands, wholesalers, and retailers.
Build long-term relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
Conduct regular customer visits, meetings, and product presentations.
2. Customer Relationship Management
Understand customer fabric requirements and recommend suitable products.
Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts.
Resolve customer complaints and ensure timely issue resolution.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
3. Market Analysis
Monitor textile market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer preferences.
Identify emerging market opportunities and recommend new product developments.
Provide regular market intelligence reports to management.
4. Sales Coordination
Coordinate with production, planning, merchandising, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely order execution.
Track order status and ensure on-time delivery.
Ensure accurate documentation and order processing.
5. Product Development Support
Work closely with the product development and design teams to develop fabrics based on market demand.
Collect customer feedback for continuous product improvement.
6. Reporting & Administration
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and monthly sales reports.
Monitor receivables and coordinate with the finance department for payment collections.
Maintain accurate customer records using CRM or ERP systems.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
5–10 years of experience in fabric sales, textile manufacturing, or textile marketing.
Experience in woven, knitted, denim, technical textiles, or processed fabrics is preferred.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of textile fabrics, manufacturing processes, dyeing, printing, and finishing.
Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Customer-focused approach with relationship management skills.
Market analysis and business development expertise.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM software.
Ability to travel frequently for customer visits and exhibitions.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
