About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive E-mail & Chat Support Executive to join our Freight Forwarding Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing shipment-related data, coordinating with stakeholders, providing shipment updates to customers, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the logistics process.
This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain shipment details accurately in logistics management systems.
- Prepare, verify, and update export/import documentation.
- Track cargo movements and update shipment status information.
- Respond to customer queries through email, chat, and voice communication.
- Coordinate with airlines, shipping lines, transporters, customs agents, and internal teams.
- Maintain customer records, shipment data, and invoice-related information.
- Verify shipment information including container numbers, cargo weight, HS codes, and delivery schedules.
- Conduct web research and gather shipment-related information as required.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with clients regarding shipment progress and delivery updates.
- Generate reports and maintain operational records.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in Email Support, Chat Support, or Customer Service.
- Good data entry and documentation skills.
- Basic understanding of Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Shipping, Export, or Import processes.
- Comfortable with voice calling and client coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and internet research.
- Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Operations, Documentation, or Customer Support.
- Exposure to international processes will be an added advantage.
- Experience handling shipment tracking and logistics coordination is preferred.
