We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven Business Operations Analyst to support our organization's operational excellence and strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights, process design expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance efficiency, optimize workflows, and strengthen business performance.
Core Responsibilities:
- Advanced Data Analysis: Collect, cleanse, and analyze operational data from various internal systems to identify performance trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Operational Efficiency Improvement: Assess end-to-end business processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend strategic improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational overhead.
- KPI Development & Monitoring: Design, implement, and track business KPIs to measure effectiveness and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reporting & Performance Insights: Develop executive-level dashboards, management reports, and presentations that communicate clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Operations, HR, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure process alignment and successful execution of business initiatives.
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform detailed investigations to determine underlying causes of operational issues and provide sustainable, data-backed solutions.
- Process Documentation: Create and maintain SOPs, process flow diagrams, workflow documentation, and operational guidelines.
- Project Support & Execution: Assist in planning and executing operational improvement, automation, and transformation projects across departments.
- Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify operational risks, analyze their impact, and propose effective mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Change Management Support: Facilitate smooth adoption of new processes or systems by coordinating training sessions and supporting teams during transitions.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze resource utilization and recommend cost-effective strategies without compromising quality or service delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Data Governance: Support data governance practices by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance in reporting and analytics.
- System Enhancement Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams to optimize reporting tools, automate workflows, and improve data integration.
- Operational Benchmarking: Monitor market and industry best practices to introduce innovative solutions and enhance business efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Business/IT (Master's or Six Sigma/PMP preferred).
3 5 years in business operations/analysis (edtech, software, IT consulting preferred).
Strong skills in data analysis, documentation, and reporting.
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace; knowledge of Agile/Scrum.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Tableau/Power BI or Python scripting.
Knowledge of Indian edtech/IT regulatory frameworks.
Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
