Job Summary
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating CNC machines to manufacture components as per engineering drawings, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safe machine operation.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Turning/Milling machines as per production plan.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
- Read engineering drawings and process sheets.
- Measure components using Vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, height gauge, etc.
- Inspect components as per quality standards.
- Perform tool offset corrections when required.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
- Report machine abnormalities to the supervisor.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintain production records and inspection reports.
Qualification
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience
- 1–5 years in CNC machining.

- Install fixtures, tools, and workpieces.
- Set tool offsets and work coordinates.
- Conduct first-piece inspection.
- Optimize cycle time and machine utilization.
- Troubleshoot machining issues.
- Coordinate with programmers and operators.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Maintain setup documentation.
- Support preventive maintenance activities.
Qualification

Job Title: CNC/VMC Programmer
Job Summary
The CNC/VMC Programmer is responsible for creating, optimizing, and validating CNC programs to achieve accurate machining with maximum productivity and minimum cycle time.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop CNC machining programs for new components.
- Prepare programs using CAM software (Mastercam, SolidCAM, NX CAM, Fusion 360, etc.).
- Select cutting tools and machining parameters.
- Optimize cycle times and machining strategies.
- Support machine setup and prove-out activities.
- Read engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Resolve machining and programming issues.
- Prepare setup sheets and tooling lists.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams.
- Implement process improvements.
Qualification
- Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- 3–8 years in CNC/VMC programming.
