We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and passionate Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to transform client requirements into functional, aesthetically pleasing, and practical interior spaces. The designer will work closely with clients, vendors, contractors, and the project execution team to deliver high-quality residential and commercial interior projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet clients to understand their design requirements, lifestyle, budget, and project goals.
- Develop creative design concepts, mood boards, space planning, and layout options.
- Prepare 2D drawings, furniture layouts, electrical layouts, ceiling plans, and detailed working drawings.
- Create 3D models and realistic renders for client presentations.
- Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and décor elements.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), material specifications, and design documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure design execution matches approved drawings and quality standards.
- Resolve design-related issues during project execution.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, technologies, and industry standards.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and timelines while maintaining design quality.
Required Skills
- Strong design sense with excellent space planning abilities.
- Good understanding of residential and commercial interiors.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and construction methods.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
Software Requirements
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- V-Ray / Enscape / Lumion
- Adobe Photoshop
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Revit or other BIM software is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in residential or commercial interior design
