Faculty – Civil/MEP (Malayalam Speaking)
DES-TECH ACADEMY is looking for a qualified and experienced Faculty – Civil/MEP to join our academic team in Ernakulam.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering practical, industry-oriented training in Civil Engineering and MEP applications, with a strong focus on software-based design, BIM modelling and project-oriented learning.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom and practical training sessions for Civil/MEP students.
- Teach Civil MEP concepts and industry-oriented design practices.
- Provide hands-on training in relevant Civil, MEP and BIM software.
- Guide students in preparing practical projects, drawings, models and assignments.
- Train students in plumbing and firefighting systems and related MEP applications.
- Explain BIM modelling and coordination concepts using relevant industry software.
- Prepare training materials, practical exercises, assignments and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide technical guidance and feedback.
- Maintain a professional and positive learning environment.
- Keep course content aligned with current industry practices.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech in Civil Engineering is required.
- Minimum 1 year of teaching/training experience is required.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and practically.
- Strong interest in technical education and student development.
Preferred Technical Skills
Experience or proficiency in the following areas will be an advantage:
- AutoCAD 2D & 3D – Civil
- Revit MEP
- Plumbing Design
- Fire Fighting Design
- BIM Modelling
- Navisworks
- Other relevant Civil/MEP design and coordination software
Candidates with strong practical knowledge of Civil MEP design, BIM and multiple industry-standard software tools will be preferred.
Salary
₹22,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on qualifications, teaching experience and technical expertise.
