Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum and school academic framework.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary and comprehension skills.
- Use activity-based, experiential and child-centric teaching methodologies to make English learning interesting and meaningful.
- Conduct storytelling, role plays, reading activities, creative writing, debates, presentations, poetry and other language-based activities.
- Encourage students to communicate confidently in spoken English and develop effective conversational skills.
- Design worksheets, lesson plans, projects, assessments and other teaching-learning resources.
- Use smart classrooms, digital resources, multimedia and technology-based activities to enhance learning.
- Assess students regularly through classwork, assignments, quizzes, oral activities, projects and periodic assessments.
- Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate remedial support and individual attention.
- Encourage creativity, imagination, critical thinking and independent expression among students.
- Maintain classroom discipline while creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Maintain student academic records, lesson plans, assessment reports and other required documentation.
- Collaborate with other teachers and the academic team for interdisciplinary activities and school projects.
- Participate in school events, competitions, assemblies, literary activities, celebrations and co-curricular programmes.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ academic progress, behaviour and overall development.
- Contribute to the overall academic and holistic development of students in accordance with the school’s values and teaching philosophy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English / English Literature / Education.
- B.Ed. is preferred/required as per school requirements.
- Strong command of English language, grammar and communication skills.
- Prior experience teaching Primary English in a CBSE school will be an advantage.
- Good classroom-management and student-engagement skills.
- Comfortable using digital teaching tools and smart-classroom technology.
- Creative, energetic, patient and passionate about working with young learners.

Pay: ₹10,000.04 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
