We are looking for a rare creative talent to join our Brand & Creative team as a Senior Social Media Producer. This is not a social media management role - it is a content creation role. You will be the one concepting, scripting, filming, editing, designing, and delivering compelling content that makes people stop scrolling.
You will own your content lane end to end. That means figuring out what we need before we need it and building the plan to get there. You will plan not just around our flagship events but around campaigns, major news cycles, and product launches, all the way down to the everyday work of growing an audience, building a community, and shaping a distinct social identity for the brand.
You will work closely with the Manager of Video Productions to support Qualys's social presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X. You will transform long-form video and campaign content into platform-native short-form assets, cover flagship events with real-time content, and generate fresh ideas that reflect the pulse of where social media is heading. When the moment calls for it, you will also step in front of the camera.
The right person for this role is a self-starter who thrives without a script - someone who sees a long-form interview and immediately visualizes five short-form cuts from it. You know what earns engagement and what gets ignored. You have a point of view on content, and you are not afraid to push ideas forward.
Content Creation & Production

Concept, script, shoot, and edit original short-form video content optimized for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X

Repurpose long-form video and campaign assets into high-performing platform-native content

Film using both mobile and higher-end camera setups depending on production needs

Step in front of the camera as on-screen talent, host, or presenter when the content calls for it
Design social media graphics and templates including thumbnails, post graphics, and branded social templates using Canva, Figma, and Adobe Illustrator - - with the ability to flex into broader graphic design support as content needs arise
Strategy & Ideation
Bring original content ideas to the table consistently
- - not just execute on briefs, but generate the briefs

Stay ahead of social media trends across platforms and recommend formats, sounds, and approaches that keep Qualys culturally relevant

Develop and pitch concepts for social campaigns tied to product launches, events, thought leadership, and brand moments

Actively identify opportunities to turn existing company content into social-first stories
Events & Live Coverage

Travel to and cover flagship events including ROCon and internal employee events at Qualys headquarters and beyond
Produce real-time social content from the field - - capturing energy, moments, and stories as they happen
Build shot lists and content plans for event coverage well in advance and execute them on the ground - - willing to go the extra mile to get exactly the right shot
Collaboration

Work closely with the Video, Brand, and Design teams to ensure content is on-brand and aligned with broader campaigns
Collaborate comfortably with stakeholders at all levels - from engineers and product managers to executives and the C-suite - - to identify and develop stories worth telling

Hand off completed assets to the social media team with proper context, platform specs, and copy recommendations
Required

5 to 7 years of experience in social media content production, digital content creation, or a closely related creative field
A strong portfolio of professional social media content you have produced - - including short-form video across at least two major platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or X). Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be considered.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut for video editing

Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and basic animation

Graphic design skills in Canva, Figma, and Adobe Illustrator sufficient to produce social media graphics and templates independently

Comfort and confidence filming on both smartphone and higher-end camera equipment
Proven on-camera presence - - you have appeared as a host, presenter, or on-screen talent in professional content
Deep fluency across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X - - you understand not just what is trending but why it works
Strong scripting and concepting skills - - you can take a complex idea and turn it into a compelling 60-second video

Proficiency with AI tools for content production, ideation, and workflow efficiency

Working knowledge of video specs, aspect ratios, and export requirements across social platforms
Strong written and spoken English proficiency - - content will reach a global audience

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25 to 30 percent of the time

An advanced command of social media analytics and content performance metrics. You eat and breathe the numbers and use them to sharpen every concept, format, and post, with a clear read on what works, what does not, and why.

Experience producing content for a B2B, technology, or cybersecurity brand

Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, terminology, or the enterprise tech industry

Experience covering live events and producing real-time social content from the field

Background working within or alongside a brand or creative team in a corporate environment

Familiarity with content management and asset management tools such as Asana and Bynder

Experience working with content calendars and structured asset delivery workflows

Experience working with or for global teams across multiple time zones

This role sits within our Brand & Creative team and reports to the Manager of Video Productions. You will be one of the few people at Qualys who works at the intersection of creative production, on-camera talent, social strategy, and design. It is a high-visibility position with direct impact on how one of the world's leading cybersecurity companies communicates with its audience.
