ESTIMATION ENGINEER
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimation Engineer to join our interior projects team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out works, including civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and finishes. The role demands strong understanding of materials, drawings, BOQs, vendor rates, and coordination with various departments to ensure competitive and profitable estimations.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Study and analyze architectural and interior drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
•
Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates for residential, commercial, and retail interior projects.
•
Take off quantities from drawings and prepare rate analysis for various works including civil, MEP, furniture, and finishes.
•
Work closely with design, project, and procurement teams to gather required inputs.
•
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotations and price comparisons.
•
Monitor project budget and update cost projections throughout execution.
•
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on design or quality.
•
Assist in value engineering and client negotiations as needed.
•
Maintain estimation records and cost database for future use.
Key Skills & Competencies:
•
Strong understanding of interior fit-out materials, finishes, and market rates
•
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD.
•
Good knowledge of local vendors, pricing, and negotiation skills
•
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
•
Analytical, organized, and excellent attention to detail
•
Time management and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Preferred Experience:
•
Experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, or retail interior projects
•
Worked with interior contractors, design-build firms, or consultancies

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
