Position: Project Engineer cum PLC Programmer
Location: Pune (Pimpri Chinchwad)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop PLC architecture, logic flowcharts, and PLC programs
- Design, program, debug, and commission automation systems
- Coordinate end-to-end project execution and customer communication
- Review electrical and mechanical designs for automation compatibility
- Create project timelines and ensure timely delivery
- Conduct design reviews with customers and internal teams
- Manage project documentation and technical reports
- Select PLC hardware, sensors, drives, and electrical components
- Ensure compliance with machine control standards and continuously improve programming practices
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in Industrial Automation/SPM Manufacturing
- Experience in Control System Architecture, Electrical Drawings, Panel Design & PLC Programming
- Knowledge of Servo Motion, AC Drives, VFDs, Sensors, and Hardware Selection
- Experience with E-Plan and AutoCAD is an added advantage
- Strong project coordination, communication, and leadership skills
Mandatory PLC Experience Candidates must have hands-on programming experience with:
- Mitsubishi FX5U / FX3U
- Siemens S7-1200 / S7-1500 (TIA Portal)
- Omron CP1E / CPM Series
- Delta PLC
- Preference will be given to candidates currently working or having prior experience in SPM Manufacturing Organizations.
