Key Responsibilities • Stitch, alter, and repair garments according to customer measurements and specifications. • Use sewing machines, hand-sewing techniques, and tailoring tools to achieve high quality finishes. • Conduct garment fittings and make precise adjustments to ensure proper fit, comfort, and appearance. • Recommend suitable fabrics, trims, and design options based on customer preferences and garment requirements. • Inspect garments for quality, stitching accuracy, and finishing before delivery. • Maintain tailoring equipment and ensure tools are in good working condition. • Follow established quality standards and meet delivery timelines. • Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and hygiene practices. • Coordinate with customers and internal teams to understand alteration requirements and resolve fitting issues. Qualifications & Requirements • Diploma or certification in Fashion Technology, Tailoring, Garment Construction, or a related field is preferred. • Proven experience as a Fit Technician, Tailor, or Garment Alteration Technician. • Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern adjustments, and fitting techniques. • Proficiency in operating industrial and domestic sewing machines. • Excellent attention to detail and precision in stitching and alterations. • Good communication and customer service skills. • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills • Knowledge of different fabrics, garment styles, and finishing techniques. • Experience working in a retail, boutique, fashion, or apparel manufacturing environment. • Ability to provide styling and fit recommendations to customers. • Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to quality workmanship.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
