Position: Accountant
Location: New Delhi | 6 Days Working
Job Summary
NK Group is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and versatile Accountant to manage end-to-end financial operations and compliance. The role goes beyond traditional accounting—covering statutory compliance, banking liaison, project cost tracking, MIS reporting, and financial analytics. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting project teams, coordinating with banks/government bodies, and enabling management with actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
· 1. Accounting & Financial Management
1. Maintain and update ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and general accounting records.
2. Process vendor bills, subcontractor payments, employee reimbursements, and client invoices.
3. Prepare and file GST, TDS, PF/ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory returns.
4. Generate and manage E-way Bills and project-related tax documentation.
5. Perform monthly/quarterly/annual closing and assist auditors in finalizing balance sheets.
6. Support budgeting, variance analysis, project cash flow tracking, and cost allocations.
7. Conduct internal audits and compliance checks to ensure statutory adherence.
· 2. Liaisoning & Banking Coordination
8. Coordinate with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, and consultants for loans, overdrafts, LC/BG issuance, and credit facilities.
9. Prepare project financial data, CMA reports, and collateral documentation for funding proposals.
10. Ensure timely submission of compliance documents (stock statements, insurance policies, utilization reports) to banks.
11. Respond to bank queries, manage renewal of facilities, and maintain updated records of security documentation.
· 3. Project Accounting & MIS Reporting
12. Track project-wise expenses, revenues, advances, retentions, and WIP (Work-in-Progress).
13. Provide cost analysis and profitability reports for infra projects.
14. Maintain vendor/contractor ledgers and track payment cycles.
15. Generate periodic MIS reports for management on cash flow, receivables, project margins, and pending liabilities.
16. Use Excel (advanced formulas, PivotTables, dashboards) for visual MIS and performance reports.
· 4. Office Administration & Support
17. Coordinate with vendors, statutory consultants, and internal departments for documentation.
18. Manage digital and physical records for contracts, invoices, and compliance.
19. Support HR in payroll processing, employee TDS, and statutory deductions.
20. Maintain an updated inventory of financial and statutory documents (Udyam, GST, PAN, TAN, CIN, insurance, etc.).
Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce (CA/ICWA Inter preferred).
· Minimum 3–5 years in accounting, banking liaison, or infra project accounting (construction/engineering industry preferred).
· Proficiency in Tally ERP, TM Bill, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, Macros), and Power BI.
· Strong knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax), compliance, and statutory filings.
· Exposure to project accounting, WIP, and cost control systems.
· Strong communication skills (English & Hindi) for liaison with banks and consultants.
· Analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial trends.
· High integrity, confidentiality, and ability to work under deadlines.
