Role: Quality Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualification - DME / B.E.Mech
- Experience - 3 to 6 Years
- Perform incoming (Fabricated and Machining parts inspection), in-process and final inspection of products.
- Review drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and support CAR activities.
- Conduct supplier quality evaluation and vendor audits.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
- Prepare First Article Inspection (FAI - As per AS9102) and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams for quality-related issues.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Implement continuous improvement and quality enhancement initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of QA/QC processes and inspection techniques.
- Experience in AS9100D / ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Knowledge of NDT methods (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT) is preferred.
- Familiarity with CAPA, 8D, 7 QC Tools, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Working knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
- QAP,ATP & QTP document preparation for Mechanical items wrt Customer Specifications
- Good Exposure is Customer handling.
- Good in communication.
- Immediate joiners are preferable.
