Role Overview
We are seeking a hands on QA Manager who can build, lead, and scale our quality assurance function. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with evolving priorities.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining QA strategy, improving testing processes, implementing automation, and ensuring product quality across multiple releases while working closely with engineering, product, leadership teams and enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers.
- Define and execute the overall quality assurance strategy.
- Establish and improve QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Design and oversee manual and automated testing efforts.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Drive root cause analysis and quality improvements for production issues.
- Implement quality metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in release planning, risk assessments, and go/no-go decisions.
- Ensure quality across web applications, APIs, integrations, and cloud-based systems.
- Support performance, security, and regression testing initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- 3+ years of experience leading QA teams.
- Strong experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Hands on experience with API testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum development practices.
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and make quality decisions under tight deadlines.
- Experience working in fast paced startup or high growth environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing SaaS, cloud, or AI-powered applications.
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.
- Experience with SQL and database testing.
- Knowledge of security testing principles.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or cloud-native architectures.
