Job Summary
Northern Extracts is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive business growth across the Food Ingredients, Flavours & Fragrances, Oleoresins, Essential Oils, Nutraceutical Ingredients, and Specialty Chemicals sectors.
The ideal candidate should have strong B2B sales experience, the ability to understand technical products, and a proven track record of developing and managing customer relationships in industrial markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across domestic markets.
- Generate leads through prospecting, networking, LinkedIn, referrals, and industry databases.
- Meet manufacturers, formulators, procurement teams, R&D teams, and key decision-makers.
- Present product portfolios and provide technical-commercial solutions to customers.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and follow up on opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and develop key accounts.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams for sampling, product development, order execution, and customer support.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Qualifications

- 3–5 years of experience in Technical Sales, Industrial Sales, or Business Development.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and provide solution-based selling.
- Willingness to travel for business development activities.
