Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and competent Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to provide medical care during the night shift. The RMO will be responsible for assessing and managing inpatients and emergency cases, responding promptly to medical emergencies, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring continuity of patient care throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients admitted to the hospital during the night shift.
- Attend medical emergencies and initiate appropriate treatment.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in clinical condition.
- Coordinate with consultants and nursing staff for patient management.
- Perform clinical procedures within the scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
- Review laboratory and diagnostic reports and take appropriate action.
- Ensure proper handover of patients to the incoming medical team.
- Follow hospital policies, clinical protocols, and infection control guidelines.
Requirements
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the State Medical Council or National Medical Commission (NMC), as applicable.
- 1–3 years of clinical experience in a hospital (RMO or emergency experience preferred).
- Ability to handle emergency and critical care situations independently.
- Good communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work night shifts.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in emergency medicine, ICU, or inpatient care.
- Certification in BLS and/or ACLS is an added advantage.
Compensation: Salary will be based on qualifications and experience
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
