Job Summary
The Assistant Professor (NCVRT) is responsible for delivering vocational and skill-based education, conducting practical training, mentoring students for employability, and ensuring compliance with NCVRT / NSQF guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver theory and hands-on practical training as per NCVRT curriculum.
- Implement competency-based teaching and outcome-focused assessment.
- Prepare lesson plans, practical manuals, skill modules, and evaluation tools.
- Conduct internal assessments, practical exams, and skill tests.
- Guide students in projects, internships, apprenticeships, and OJT.
- Maintain student attendance, assessment records, and skill documentation.
- Ensure lab/workshop safety, equipment readiness, and discipline.
- Support inspections, audits, and NCVRT documentation requirements.
- Participate in industry interaction, guest lectures, and placement support.
Qualifications
- Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in relevant vocational discipline
- NCVRT / NSQF certification preferred
- Strong industry experience will be an added advantage
- Teaching or training experience in vocational/skill programs preferred
