Job Purpose
The Senior Sales Officer is responsible for driving revenue growth by maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts, identifying new market opportunities, and securing new business. This role combines direct high-level selling with the mentorship of junior team members to ensure regional sales targets are consistently met or exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Generation & Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new market segments, execute strategic sales plans, and achieve individual and team monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Key Account Management: Build, maintain, and scale relationships with high-value clients, distributors, or corporate accounts to ensure high retention rates and repeat business.
- Sales Lifecycle Management: Lead the entire sales process from initial prospecting and cold calling to product demonstrations, price negotiation, and closing deals.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing shifts to provide actionable feedback to the product and marketing teams.
- Team Mentorship: Assist the Sales Manager in onboarding, training, and guiding junior sales executives to improve overall team conversion rates.
- Reporting & CRM Compliance: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all leads, interactions, and pipelines using the company CRM platform, delivering weekly performance forecasts to management.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a field sales or corporate sales role (B2B or B2C depending on industry), consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Negotiation & Closing: Proven ability to handle complex objections, negotiate high-value contracts, and close deals efficiently.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging product presentations to decision-makers.
- Tech Savviness: Proficiency in CRM software (like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho) and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory for client meetings and market visits.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
