About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-oriented Academic Counsellor who can connect with parents, understand their child's academic and career needs, provide counselling support, conduct webinars, and convert qualified leads into enrollments for our education programs.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a counselling mindset, and the ability to build trust with parents while achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities1. Parent Counselling & Lead Conversion
- Connect with parents through phone calls, WhatsApp, online meetings, and offline meetings.
- Understand parents' concerns related to their child's academics, career planning, skills development, and future opportunities.
- Provide personalized counselling and recommend suitable programs based on student requirements.
- Follow up with interested parents and convert leads into paid enrollments.
- Handle parent objections professionally and build confidence in the program.
- Maintain strong relationships with parents throughout the enrollment journey.
2. Webinar Management & Presentation
- Conduct online webinars/workshops for parents and students.
- Present program benefits, career guidance concepts, and learning outcomes effectively.
- Engage participants through interactive discussions, Q&A sessions, and activities.
- Generate interest and move webinar participants towards counselling appointments.
- Improve webinar conversion rates through continuous feedback and optimization.
3. Sales Activities
- Manage leads generated through digital marketing campaigns, school partnerships, and webinars.
- Maintain daily calling and follow-up activities using CRM.
- Achieve monthly enrollment and revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate lead records, follow-up status, and conversion reports.
- Coordinate with the marketing and program teams for better lead quality and conversion.
4. Online & Offline Parent Meetings
- Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions with parents.
- Schedule and manage Google Meet/Zoom counselling sessions.
- Participate in school events, seminars, and offline counselling activities when required.
- Build trust and create a positive experience for parents.
Required Skills & QualificationsEducation:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Additional qualification in counselling, education, psychology, or sales will be preferred.
Experience:
- Experience in education counselling, inside sales, academic counselling, career counselling, or edtech sales preferred.
- Experience conducting webinars or presentations will be an advantage.
Skills Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
- Ability to explain educational programs clearly to parents.
- Good listening and counselling ability.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Target-oriented approach with a customer-first mindset.
- Comfortable with technology tools like CRM, Zoom/Google Meet, WhatsApp, and online platforms.

- Number of counselling calls completed.
- Webinar attendance and engagement rate.
- Counselling appointment conversion rate.
- Lead-to-enrollment conversion percentage.

- Parent satisfaction and feedback scores.
- Follow-up discipline and CRM data accuracy.
