Job Summary
To oversee and manage all stores and inventory activities related to liquid terminal, warehouse, and port operations, ensuring timely availability of materials, inventory accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end store operations, including receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, and issuance of materials.
- Maintain inventory of engineering spares, operational consumables, PPE, tools, equipment, and chemicals required for terminal and warehouse operations.
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of critical spares and consumables for terminal, jetty, warehouse, and maintenance activities.
- Monitor stock levels and generate material requisitions to maintain optimum inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and material transactions in ERP/SAP/Tally systems.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation of physical and system inventories.
- Prepare and maintain GRNs, Material Issue Notes, Stock Transfer Notes, Gate Passes, and other inventory-related documentation.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Maintenance, Logistics, and Finance departments for material planning and availability.
- Monitor inventory aging, slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete stock and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage warehouse storage practices and ensure proper preservation of materials.
- Support port and terminal operations by ensuring timely availability of operational materials and equipment.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to inventory, consumption, stock movement, and valuation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, safety regulations, and audit standards.
- Assist in internal and external audits and ensure proper record maintenance.
- Supervise store staff and contract manpower engaged in warehouse and inventory activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, Materials Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in:
- Liquid Terminal Operations
- Warehouse Management
- Port & Logistics Operations
- Oil & Gas Industry
- Chemical Industry
- Tank Farm Operations
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, and material control systems.
- Experience in handling engineering spares, operational consumables, and maintenance inventory.
- Proficiency in ERP/SAP/Tally and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of documentation, inventory reconciliation, and audit compliance.
- Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
