Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and experienced PHP Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core PHP, MySQL, AJAX, jQuery, and modern JavaScript technologies including React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. You will be responsible for developing scalable web applications, RESTful APIs, backend systems, and integrating third-party services while ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Core PHP.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Develop responsive user interfaces using React.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery.
- Develop backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design, manage, and optimise MySQL and MongoDB databases.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following coding standards.
- Optimise applications for speed, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, SMS, email, and other external services.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Perform code reviews and participate in software architecture discussions.
- Maintain proper documentation for applications and development processes.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Core PHP.
- Excellent understanding of MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with AJAX and jQuery.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with React.js.
- Experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Working knowledge of MongoDB.
- Experience in REST API development and API integration.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control.
- Understanding of MVC architecture and software development best practices.
- Good knowledge of application security, authentication, and performance optimisation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in PHP and Full Stack Web Development.
- Experience with cloud hosting, Linux servers, or deployment tools will be an added advantage.
