We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect to lead architectural design, technical coordination, and project execution from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and planning for construction projects from concept to completion.
- Develop innovative, functional, and cost-effective design solutions in line with client requirements.
- Prepare, review, and approve concept drawings, working drawings, GFC drawings, detailed drawings, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with Structural, MEP, PMC, Site Engineers, and external consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure all architectural designs comply with local building by-laws, NBC guidelines, statutory regulations, and construction standards.
- Conduct design reviews, technical evaluations, and value engineering to optimize project quality and construction costs.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and architectural specifications for construction activities.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction quality, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to design intent.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve on-site architectural challenges and provide timely technical support.
- Manage project timelines, design deliverables, and documentation throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Mentor junior architects and support the architectural team in achieving project milestones.
- Participate in client meetings, design presentations, and technical discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch).
- COA Registration is preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in the Construction industry.
- Proven experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or institutional construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building materials, construction sequencing, and site execution.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams throughout project execution.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of BIM workflows and construction documentation.
- Experience preparing GFC drawings, working drawings, and detailed architectural drawings.
- Thorough knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and statutory approval processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project documentation.
