We are seeking an experienced and passionate IELTS / PTE Trainer to join our Ahmedabad team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of delivering excellent student results and possess the ability to mentor junior trainers while maintaining high academic standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct IELTS and PTE classroom and individual training sessions.
- Develop and implement effective teaching methodologies to improve student performance.
- Evaluate student progress through regular assessments, mock tests, and feedback sessions.
- Create and update study materials, lesson plans, practice tests, and assessment tools.
- Provide personalized guidance to students aiming for higher band scores.
- Monitor student performance and maintain academic reports.
- Train and mentor junior faculty members.
- Stay updated with the latest IELTS and PTE exam formats, scoring criteria, and teaching techniques.
- Collaborate with the academic and counseling teams to support student success.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and orientation sessions when required.
- Contribute to curriculum enhancement and academic quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & RequirementsMandatory
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in English, Education, Linguistics, Literature, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience teaching IELTS and/or PTE.
- Strong understanding of IELTS and PTE exam patterns, scoring criteria, and assessment standards.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage classroom sessions effectively.
- Experience in conducting mock tests and evaluating student performance.
- Proficiency in preparing lesson plans and academic content.
Preferred
- British Council, IDP, Pearson, CELTA, TESOL, TEFL, or equivalent certification.
- Experience mentoring junior trainers.
- Experience handling diverse student groups and varying proficiency levels.
- Overseas education industry experience will be an added advantage.
