Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
- Fresher to 1 year of experience in design and development (preferably in automotive or engineering industry)
Skills & Knowledge:
- Understanding of TPM, Kaizen, Lean practices, and IATF 16949 standards
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, NX, and AutoCAD
- Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform surface modeling and programming for mold development
- Plan and execute mold development activities
- Maintain 5S standards and adhere to safety practices in all assigned areas
- Assist in problem-solving using Root Cause Analysis and 5-Why methodology
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (Poka-Yoke, 5S, Kaizen)
- Prepare and maintain daily documentation and reports
- Ensure achievement of daily CNC machining targets
- Update and maintain development status in Excel sheets
- Generate tool inspection and tool validation reports
- Prepare and update daily activity reports
- Complete and maintain PPAP documentation
- Maintain and update all maintenance-related records
- Report breakdowns and coordinate with the maintenance team to support timely resolution
