Interpretation of Engineering Designs: You must translate complex 2D or 3D drawings (such as your foundation or RCC working drawings) into actionable instructions for the construction team.
- Quality Assurance & Control: You serve as the final gatekeeper for material quality and workmanship. This includes performing slump tests for concrete, verifying steel reinforcement spacing (binding wire, bar diameters, and cover blocks), and checking shuttering alignment.
- Site Planning & Logistics: You orchestrate the daily flow of resources, including the arrival of materials, the strategic positioning of heavy machinery (like Pocklen units), and the allocation of labor to specific zones of the site.
- Structural Oversight: You ensure that load-bearing elements—foundations, columns, and beams—are executed exactly to specifications, ensuring structural stability and longevity.
- Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE): You are responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, which involves enforcing the use of PPE, monitoring site access, and ensuring that machinery operations do not endanger the workforce.
- Client & Consultant Liaison: You act as the primary interface for reporting progress, resolving technical queries (RFIs), and managing commercial milestones with stakeholders.
