Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled ITI Fitter to assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and components. The candidate will be responsible for fitting and assembling parts, reading technical drawings, and ensuring smooth operation of machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Assemble and fit mechanical parts, components, and structures.
- Perform drilling, cutting, grinding, and finishing operations.
- Carry out maintenance and repair of machines and equipment.
- Ensure proper alignment and fitting of components.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Identify faults and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety at the worksite.
- Follow company safety standards and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Fitter trade.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in a workshop environment.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Apprenticeship or prior industrial experience.
- Knowledge of welding or fabrication (added advantage).
- Experience in manufacturing/engineering industry.
