We are looking for an experienced Proposal Engineer with strong technical knowledge of Industrial Boilers and expertise in preparing techno-commercial proposals and quotations. The candidate will provide complete technical and commercial support to the Sales team and ensure accurate, competitive, and timely proposal submissions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare technical and commercial quotations/proposals for Industrial Boiler projects.
Study customer enquiries, specifications, and technical requirements to prepare suitable proposals.
Prepare BOQ, cost estimation, technical specifications, and scope of supply.
Coordinate with the Sales, Design, Purchase, Production, and Service teams for technical and commercial inputs.
Provide technical support to the Sales team during customer discussions and order finalization.
Handle customer queries, technical clarifications, and deviations related to quotations.
Ensure timely submission and follow-up of proposals and quotations.
Maintain proper records of enquiries, quotations, revisions, and order status.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of Industrial Boilers, Boiler Accessories, and Boiler Systems.
Excellent knowledge of quotation preparation, techno-commercial proposals, and costing.
Ability to understand customer technical specifications and prepare customized solutions.
Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant documentation tools.
Qualification
B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
3–8 years of relevant experience in Proposal Engineering / Estimation / Technical Sales Support, preferably in the Boiler or Thermal Engineering industry.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
