Designation : Business Development Trainee
What is the work?
- Identify potential business opportunities through platforms like LinkedIn, Upwork, and Freelancer.com
- Research client requirements, project feasibility, and hiring history
- Analyze project scope, budgets, timelines, and relevance to company services
- Shortlist qualified leads and share them with senior BD team members
- Coordinate with internal technical teams for effort estimation and timelines
- Maintain proposal trackers, lead sheets, and enquiry management reports
- Update client and project statuses regularly
- Participate in internal meetings and business discussions
- Support business development activities on Upwork and Freelancer.com
- Research and track projects from existing and previous clients
- Assist in creating professional client pitches and communication drafts
- Assist in reviewing and shortlisting leads fetched through automation workflows (n8n)
- Support internal operational tasks, testing activities, and issue reporting
- Maintain accurate business development data and documentation
- Draft customized client proposals for IT and digital service projects
- Assist in RFP analysis and proposal submissions
- Submit bids on platforms such as Upwork and Freelancer.com
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of business development processes
- Basic knowledge of proposal drafting and client communication
- Research and analytical skills
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Upwork, or Freelancer.com is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets
