Job Summary
Bludesign is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with 2–4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of spatial planning, technical detailing, and the ability to translate client visions into reality through compelling mood boards and accurate working drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Proposals: Conceptualize and develop comprehensive design proposals for residential and commercial projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and functional needs.
- Mood Board Presentations: Curate material palettes, textures, furniture, and lighting selections to create cohesive mood boards. Present design concepts effectively to clients and internal teams.
- Working Drawings: Produce high-quality, detailed technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and electrical layouts to ensure smooth site execution.
- Documentation: Assist in preparing Boards of Quantities (BOQ) and specifications using Microsoft Office tools.
- Coordination: Collaborate with the execution team and vendors to ensure the design is implemented accurately on-site.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven work experience in Interior Design.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Software Proficiency (Mandatory):
- AutoCAD: Advanced skills in 2D drafting and layout planning.
- Google SketchUp: Proficiency in 3D modeling and space visualization.
- Microsoft Office: Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint (for presentations), Excel (for BOQs), and Word.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a strong eye for aesthetics.
