Job Summary
SGR Travels is looking for a proactive and organized Booking Coordinator to manage customer bookings, coordinate vehicle allocations, and ensure smooth travel operations. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capability to handle multiple bookings efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process travel booking requests from clients via phone, email, and WhatsApp.
- Coordinate with customers to understand travel requirements, including vehicle type, pickup location, itinerary, and timings.
- Assign suitable vehicles and drivers based on availability.
- Prepare booking confirmations and maintain accurate booking records.
- Follow up with customers before and after trips to ensure service quality.
- Handle booking modifications, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- Maintain daily booking reports and operational records.
- Resolve customer queries and provide timely updates.
Required Skills
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and email.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Bengaluru routes and South India travel destinations is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- PUC. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in travel, transport, logistics, or customer service is preferred.
- Freshers with good communication skills and willingness to learn may also apply.
Preferred Qualities
- Positive attitude and professional behavior.
- Team player with strong coordination skills.
- Experience with travel booking or fleet management software is an added advantage.
