Position - Project Manager – Hospital Construction & Allied facilities.
Project: Multi-Specialty Hospital – 200 bedded, Nursing College, Nursing Hostel and Patient Accommodation facilities
Location – Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh
Reporting To - Project Director / Head – Projects / Management Committee
Purpose of the Role
To lead, coordinate, monitor, and successfully deliver the construction of a 200-bedded multi-specialty hospital & allied facilities project within approved scope, budget, quality standards, statutory requirements, and project timelines while ensuring compliance with healthcare infrastructure standards and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, commissioning, and handover of 200–300+ bed multi-specialty hospital projects, ensuring completion within approved timelines and budgets.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules, resource deployment plans, cash flow forecasts, and execution strategies while tracking progress against key milestones.
- Manage and coordinate all construction activities including civil, structural, architectural, MEP, HVAC, Medical Gas Pipeline System (MGPS), ELV, and external development works.
- Coordinate with architects, healthcare planners, consultants, contractors, and specialist vendors to ensure design compliance, technical accuracy, and smooth project execution.
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, technical submissions, and implement value engineering initiatives to optimize project cost and performance.
- Monitor project budgets, evaluate contractor claims and variation orders, control costs, and identify savings opportunities without compromising quality and operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with NABH guidelines, National Building Code (NBC), fire safety regulations, statutory approvals, and healthcare infrastructure standards through robust QA/QC practices.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of critical hospital systems including HVAC, MGPS, electrical, fire alarm and firefighting systems, BMS, OT equipment, radiology, laboratory, and IT/ELV infrastructure.
- Lead stakeholder engagement with hospital management, consultants, contractors, government authorities, and end users through regular progress reviews and project reporting.
- Identify project risks, implement mitigation measures, resolve site issues, manage commissioning activities, and ensure successful handover with complete documentation, as-built drawings, warranties, and operational readiness support.
Required skills, expertise and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Master’s degree in construction management / project management preferred.
- PMP Certification preferred.
- 15–20 years of experience in large infrastructure or healthcare projects.
- Minimum 8 years as Project Manager for hospital projects.
- Experience in the construction, commissioning, and handover of 200+ bed NABH-compliant multi-specialty hospital projects with a project value of ₹300–500 Crore.
- Preferred industry experience includes execution and management of large-scale healthcare and institutional infrastructure projects such as multi-specialty hospitals, medical colleges, healthcare facilities, and large commercial or institutional buildings.
- Proficient in project scheduling using Primavera P6/MS Project, contract management, cost control, budgeting, and risk management. Strong expertise in coordinating civil, architectural, MEP, HVAC, medical gas pipeline, and ELV works, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and project management tools.

Team Management
The Project Manager shall lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary project team comprising approximately 40–60 personnel, including:

- Contractors and Consultants
Pay: Up to ₹3,000,000.00 per year
