We are seeking highly experienced, performance-driven Senior Bench Sales Recruiters with a proven track record of successfully marketing IT consultants, generating interviews, and achieving consistent placements in the US IT staffing market.
This is not an entry-level or submission-focused position. We are specifically looking for experienced Bench Sales professionals who bring strong and active relationships with Tier-1 vendors, implementation partners, preferred vendors, staffing partners, and direct client contacts.
The ideal candidate must have an established vendor network, strong market intelligence, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to independently drive consultants from initial marketing through interview coordination, rate negotiation, and successful placement.
Success in this role will be measured by quality vendor relationships, interview generation, placement closures, consultant utilization, and consistent revenue contribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage the complete Bench Sales lifecycle for assigned IT consultants, from profile assessment and marketing strategy through submissions, interviews, negotiations, and successful placements.
- Aggressively market consultants to Tier-1 vendors, implementation partners, preferred vendors, direct clients, and established staffing partners across the United States.
- Leverage an existing and active network of vendor contacts, account managers, recruiters, delivery managers, and client relationships to generate genuine opportunities and accelerate closures.
- Build and continuously expand a strong chain of vendor contacts rather than depending exclusively on job portals, mass emails, or publicly posted requirements.
- Develop a customized marketing strategy for each consultant based on technical skills, experience, visa status, location, rate expectations, market demand, and mobility.
- Generate high-quality submissions and qualified interviews while maintaining a strong submission-to-interview and interview-to-placement conversion ratio.
- Proactively identify requirements through existing relationships, vendor lists, LinkedIn networking, job portals, email campaigns, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with vendor account managers and decision-makers to create repeat business and early access to requirements.
- Negotiate competitive bill rates and contractual terms while protecting company margins and accelerating consultant placements.
- Coordinate interviews, follow up aggressively for feedback, manage interview preparation, and maintain momentum throughout the closure process.
- Work closely with consultants to ensure availability, responsiveness, interview readiness, documentation compliance, and transparency throughout the marketing process.
- Maintain accurate records of daily submissions, vendor interactions, interviews, feedback, pipelines, hotlists, closures, and consultant status.
- Stay current on US IT staffing trends, high-demand technologies, rate movements, immigration and work-authorization considerations relevant to staffing, and changing vendor requirements.
- Consistently achieve individual performance targets for qualified submissions, interviews, closures, consultant utilization, and gross margin contribution.
What We Are Specifically Looking For

- Strong experience marketing consultants across diverse technical skill sets, including AI/ML, Data Engineering, Cloud, DevOps, Cybersecurity, ERP, CRM, Software Development, QA, and other enterprise technologies.
- Deep understanding of the US staffing ecosystem, including vendor layers, implementation partnerships, client procurement processes, rate structures, and contractual requirements.
- Strong understanding of US employment and engagement models, including W-2, C2C, and 1099, as applicable.
- Working knowledge of US work authorization categories relevant to IT staffing, including H-1B, Green Card, U.S. Citizen, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, EAD, and TN.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, persuasion, negotiation, and closing abilities.
