Responsibilities:
- Analyze and control company costs, including manufacturing and production costs, inventory, and other expenses
- Develop and implement cost accounting policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the cost accounting function
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of costs in the general ledger and other accounting systems
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile inventory accounts to the general ledger
- Prepare monthly cost accounting reports and other financial analysis as needed
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts
- Participate in the development of new product costs and review of existing product costs
- Analyze manufacturing variances and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Support the external audit process by providing documentation and responding to auditor requests
- Assist with special projects and other accounting-related tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cost accounting or a related field
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting processes and procedures
- Experience with cost accounting software, such as Oracle or SAP
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
