Job Summary :
The Dispatch Executive is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and damage-free dispatch of finished wooden furniture products. The role involves coordinating with Production, Quality, Packing, Stores, Sales, Transporters, and Customers to ensure all dispatches are completed as per schedule with proper documentation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Dispatch Planning
- Prepare daily dispatch schedule as per customer delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning and Packing departments.
- Ensure priority orders are dispatched on time.
2. Material Verification
- Verify product quantity, dimensions, finish, and model before dispatch.
- Ensure dispatch only after Quality Control (QC) approval.
- Check product labels and barcode before loading.
3. Documentation
- Maintain complete dispatch records.
4. Loading Supervision
- Supervise loading of furniture.
- Ensure proper packaging and handling.
- Prevent transit damage through proper stacking and securing.
5. Transport Coordination
- Arrange vehicles according to dispatch volume.
- Coordinate with transporters and drivers.
- Track vehicle movement until delivery.
6. Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with Stores for finished goods availability.
- Update dispatch stock records.
- Report shortages or mismatches immediately.
7. Customer Coordination
- Share dispatch details with Sales Team.
- Provide vehicle number, LR copy and expected delivery date (EDD).
- Resolve dispatch-related customer queries.
8. Safety & Compliance
- Follow company dispatch SOP.
- Ensure loading area safety.
- Maintain housekeeping in dispatch area.
Daily Responsibilities :
- Prepare Daily Dispatch Plan.
- Verify Finished Goods.
- Coordinate with QC & Packing.
- Prepare Dispatch Documents.
- Arrange Transport.
- Monitor Loading Process.
- Share Daily Dispatch Report with Management.

Educational Qualification :
- Graduate (Preferred)
- Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain (Preferred)
Experience :
- 2–5 Years in Wooden Furniture Manufacturing Dispatch.
- Experience in modular furniture or factory dispatch is preferred.
